As part of the Bengonet Health Thematic group CSOs tasked to carry out sensitization campaign on Human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccination, Nextlife Humanitarian Foundation took the sensitization campaign to North Bank, Makurdi to educate the IDPs taking refuge at NEPA quarters IDP camp and the community on HPVV and the need for vaccination.
Over 157 community members made up of female and male of all ages were sensitized and educated on HPV vaccine, aimed at preventing HPV amongst girls ages 9-14 years, which will commence on the 24th of October 2023 in all the primary health care centres and facilities.
